Rowena Gunn joined Wood Mackenzie in March 2019 as an analyst for the Canada & Alaska Upstream Research team where she focused on building financial asset valuations and commercial analysis of companies. In 2022 she shifted focus to metals and mining and moved onto the Curated Service team where she is responsible for tailoring research to aid the institutional investor community in strategic decision making. In this role she covers a broad spectrum of commodities including bulk commodities, base metals and energy transition metals. 

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Rowena worked as a Geologist at CNRL and IHS Markit. As well as extensive experience in development and operations geology, Rowena has also worked on company strategy and A&D activities.

Rowena holds an M.Sc in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London and a First Class BSc in Geology from the University of Glasgow.
